Ben's was definitely the highlight of the trip. I had seen it enough on Man V. Food and No Reservations and just finally had to make the trip.

H Street has a ways to go...but it's definitely got the up and coming, hipster vibe going on. We originally wanted to eat at Sticky Rice, a trendy Asian restaurant, but the place was packed. It all worked out in the end because the Country Club turned out to be awesome! But yeah, H Street still has a little way to go...I'm predicting it will eventually be the Williamsburg(Brooklyn) of DC.

So happy to see that you found Ben's, and that it still hasn't sold out. :) Did you see the sign that lists the people who eat free at Ben's?

What was your impression of H Street, NE? It's supposed to be the new hipster district in the city, now that everyone has been priced out of Adam's Morgan and U Street.
