How to Make the Most of LV Scene: A New Users Guide

One of the cool things about the site revamping LV Scene underwent a couple of months ago is that we now have the ability to organize weekly events in a way that (hopefully) makes it easy for you to find something to do. (If you want to see what LV Scene looked like before the redesign go here…talk about an improvement!)

Take a look at the header at the top of this page. You’ll notice a row of buttons with the days of the week on them. Say for instance it’s a Tuesday in the middle of December and you’re looking for something fun to do. Just click the button labeled “Tuesday” and you’ll be taken to a page with a listing of all the cool weekly events that happen right here in the LV. If I’ve done my job right, you should be able to find something that interests you.

I’ve done my best to make sure that these lists are complete, but I’m sure I’ve missed something. Here’s where you come in. Do you know about a cool weekly event that isn’t on my list? Well stop hogging the info and send me an email! All tip emails can be sent to…

And while I have you, take a look at the button labeled “Find It Here”. Scroll your cursor over it and you should see a drop down menu of bars listed by type. In the mood for a laid back atmosphere and some good food? Check out the bars listed under the “Neighborhood Bars” page. Looking to catch the Eagles game? I’m sure you’ll be able to find the game on at one of the bars listed under “Sports Bar”.

Just below this post you’ve also probably noticed two boxes…LV Eats and Night-life. The LV Eats box, which currently features an article about the Braveheart Highland Pub in Hellertown, is used to highlight new restaurant review that have been posted. Clicking on them will take you to the full article or click where it says “Read more posts” for a listing of all our previous restuarant reviews.

The Night-life box is designed to feature an upcoming event or party in the Valley. Currently it’s for a Christmas party being thrown at Starter’s Riverport but check back in a couple of weeks to see what else is on the horizon.

Here at LV Scene we’re all about getting you the information you need and plugging you in to something that intersts you. That’s what these new features are all about. If you can think of anything else that you’d like to see on LV Scene, share it in the comments section below! Thanks for making LV Scene your first choice for news and information about the Lehigh Valley’s dining, entertainment, and night-life scene!
