Tuesday – November 3, 2009 – Euphoria @ Molten Lounge in the Sands

The Sands Casino in Bethlehem hasn’t made as much of an impact on the Lehigh Valley’s nightlife as I originally expected. Since opening in late May of this year, I myself have only been there two or three times. Each visit was OK, but nothing that made me want to go there instead of spending my money at a locally owned establishment like Starter’s Riverport or The PigPen. But, if DJ Cap Cee has his way, that’s all about to change.

Cap Cee and the Sands are introducing a new weekly Tuesday night event to their roster of entertainment. Euphoria starts tomorrow night at the Molten Lounge and runs from 9PM-1AM. While listening to Cap Cee spin all the hits and classics, you can enjoy $1 Lemon Drops, $1.75 Coors Light and Bud drafts, and a $5 martini special. There’s no cover and you must be 21 to enter the casino.

I’d like to say I’m gonna be there tomorrow night for the inaugural event, but that’s not the case. I’m stuck working night shift tomorrow and won’t be able to make it out. But don’t let that stop you. Actually, because I can’t be there I’m gonna need you to go in my place. Yep, it’s your job to relax, enjoy delicious martinis, and listen to Cap Cee do what he does best. Hmmm, now how do I make that my full time job…

I enjoy bourbon, dark beer, and watching Man v. Food on the Travel Channel. I started LV Scene because I felt the Lehigh Valley's "alternative papers" didn't do a good job covering the Valley's growing nightlife scene. I hope that you find our content useful and informative.
