Now that our local colleges are back in full swing, it’s time that we all start taking advantage of the “college night” specials that are out there. The newest bar to announce a college night is The Firehouse in Bethlehem. I haven’t had a chance to check college night at The Firehouse out yet, so tonight looks like a good night to do so.

Way back in 2006 when I was in college, money was tight for me and all of my college student friends…as I’m sure it is for all college students today. The people over at The Firehouse have realized this and have appropriately priced their drinks for the night. Is there any better way to draw in poor college students than to charge $.50 for a draft and $2 for a pitcher?? (For the record, no, there is not). And on the turntables, DJ Synystr will be keeping things going all night long.

If you work on weekends and haven’t been able to make it out to The Firehouse since it opened, tonight is your night to check it out. What more reason do you need then $.50 beer?
