Monday's Weekend Recap – Weekend of July 24

So I didn’t make it out to any of the big parties this weekend, but I did manage to check out a new bar(well, new to me at least)…Machs Gute on Linden St in Bethlehem. Anyone been there before? I loved it. Hardwood floors, brick walls, great beer selection, comfortable atmosphere, good crowd. Which was perfect because I needed to take it easy on Friday night because of an all day wedding the next day.
What’d you guys do? Anyone go to Christmas in July or the MAXXIM Party?

We went to the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail on the Mountain in Jim Thorpe yesterday. It was packed. We bought a bottle of wine, some cheese and fruit and soaked up the sun on the patio. The view is unbelievably beautiful. We’d never been to Penn’s Peak before; it looks like a fun place to see a concert.

I also did the Wine on the Mountain on Sunday. It was absolutely awesome…bought around 15 bottles of wine and spent a good 4 hours there checking out the different wineries and vendors.

Sounds awesome! Is that a once a year event? Or does it happen fairly frequently?

Yeah, wine on the mountain is once a year but they have over events all the time. Next one is in September I think.
