Has everyone sufficiently recovered from St Patrick’s Day yet? Good. I had an awesome time this past weekend. The Pub Crawl through West Allentown turned out to be a lot of fun. If you haven’t already checked em out, the pictures are posted below. I can’t wait to do that again. Would anyone else be interested in doing another pub crawl sometime?

Is it really only Tuesday? I don’t know about you, but for me this week already feels like it’s taking forever…Friday could not come soon enough. So let’s hurry this week along by going out tomorrow night. Wednesday night seems to be the official night to host either Karaoke Night or Open Mic Night at the local bars. There are lots of options to choose from. For a more complete list of what’s going on tomorrow night click here. Now, I don’t know how you feel about karaoke, but I love it. It doesn’t matter if you sing or not, it’s always a good time. What could be more entertaining than belting out “Sweet Caroline” with a room full of drunks?

Like I said, there are lots of places to karaoke tomorrow night. My recommendations would be either Tally Ho Tavern in Bethlehem or Mezza Luna on the East Side of Allentown. Some friends and I went to karaoke at Tally Ho a couple weeks back. DJ Scotty has a good list of songs and the crowd is loud, not afraid to sing, and only too happy to drink a lot of beer. It’s been a while since I’ve done karaoke at Mezza Luna, but tomorrow night they have $2 Guinness and Labatt Blue Drafts and $4 martini’s. Traditionally, Mezza Luna also gets a lot of cougars. So if cougars screeching along to “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” is your thing, I’d say Mezza Luna is a safe bet.

For those not interested in karaoke, check out Trivia Night at Starter’s Pub off of 378 in Bethlehem (not Starter’s Riverport). $2.00 cheesesteaks, $2.50 chicken steak, $3 Sam Adams Pints and trivia night? I’m actually thinking about hitting this up instead of karaoke now. Don’t tell DJ Scotty I said that though.
